I loved your photo shoot class I took in March/April! You and your staff were absoloutely amazing! I loved how you taught us to think of our work in 2-D and how you taught us the business end of editorial work! You were the first person I wrote my mentor paper on in school! As soon as I knew that I would have an oppurtunity to meet you I jumped at the chance! When I saw your work in magazines and online I knew that you were incredibly talented, But I know now from meeting you that you're not just an incredible hairdresser but also and inspiring person as well! You were even more fun, goofy, talented, and determined than I could've ever imagined! I learned so much from you and your staff! To have an oppurtunity like this so early on in my career I am truly greatful!!! To you and your team Thank you sooo much! I know that I will never forget the knowledege all of you have shared with me or the experience! Thank you!

I remember coming to my first artist to artist at your studio, when you told me about HDTV from the very beginning I was so excited.
Being a salon owner and building my team from scratch I do not have a lot of time to grow myself and my team. HDTV has been a great tool not only for me to increase my skills I have been able to include my staff on this journey. I have been able to listen to documentaries and learn from other industry icons. One thing I am working on now is learning how to create great images and really polishing and practicing my skills.On HDTV everything you need to learn is there about photoshoots, branding and marketing My staff that is young and they can see what this industry has to offer, they want to learn from the industries best and now they can through HDTV. In this down economy we are all cutting expenses one thing i wont cut down on is education.I really think that this investment is really starting to pay off. Knowledge is power and HDTV has given me a great tool with out having to spend lots $$$ bringing in educators in to train my team.

i am a big fan of your artist to artist program what way to get intimate with you and really polish and work on the skills without any interruption just focusing on what I need to work on. I always leave so ready to work and achieve my goals. Vivienne your are really a true icon and thanks for really sharing your years of experience with us. It means so much.

Hairdesignertv.com has opened up a whole new world for me. It has changed my outlook on the hairdressing industry, given me the inspiration to set high goals, and has provided me with countless tools to reach my goals. HDTV is cutting edge and relavant to every hairdresser. I am telling anyone who is serious about this phenomenal website.

As a sidenote, I began printing articles from MOD and placing the pages in plastic covers, in order to bind them in a notebook. I read Vivienne's article "Talent is Often Not Enough" over and over, highlighting the most important concepts to review daily. The notebook is never far away from me. It keeps me focused and motivated to achieve.

First off I just want to say I got complemented SO much on my new cut today. I love it so much! It's a great thing that our school is covered in mirrors so I could check it out all day. My fellow students could not stop talking about how much they loved your visit/class/performance and how inspiring it really was. It means a lot that you would take the time come to teach us all the way in milwaukee wisconsin. It really showed how passionate you are about the industry and it felt so contagious.I really hope you come back to the institute. I'm so excited to start chasing after all of my dreams and jump into all those challenges out there that might frighten me. We are taught in school that there are all these opportunities to have these dream jobs doing freelance work or working on fashion shows and photo shoots but up until today we haven't really been showed the process of how you grow to do that. Again, very inspiring! Also, my class in particular is just starting to learn how to cut so it was perfect timing to learn about the different razor techniques. Today was one of those once in a life time experiences (hence why I almost did a hurdle jump over the chair to volunteer to get a razor cut from THE Vivienne Mackinder) that i will never forget. If you are ever available in new york to give me that short cut (I'm no longer sitting on the fence, not even close) I would do it in a second! I wasn't sure if you were serious or not because it seemed to good to be true. Thank you again for sharing all of your knowledge, you impacted me way more than you know! I wasn't able to get a picture of us on my phone in the numerous attempts so if you have a second to send me that picture of us it would be GREATLY appreciated! THANK YOU VIVIENNE !

I can't believe how great HDTV is and how much I am seeing a great improvement in my work. It's unbelieveable! Each day Isee something new that I didn't see before.

I still can't get over that you were here. You are still talked about throughout the salon, and your techniques are used by all of us. It is so very amusing to me, that you touched such deep areas of everyone's hearts here, and your inspiration LIVES here in our salon. I have only been open 1 year, and I intend to budget, and have you out again......but before that, I will take your advice, and take care of myself, and accept gifts graciously, and come to one of your longer classes in NY. In time.

I just have to share with you that SO MANY people now use a razor on a daily basis, and occasionally I hear them correcting each other when they are moving their wrists rather than their fingers.....comments are made, like, "would you like me to get my purse out for you", or 10,000 strokes, practice practice, practice!! I have a bunch of little drill sergeant VM's in the house!!

I truly ADORE you, and have taken ALL your advice.......never before in my career have I been touched so deeply in such a short period of time...
