Based in Vancouver, BC, Kelley Schedewitz was recently named to Vivienne Mackinder’s Hairdesignertv Artistic “Dream Team.” As one of only five stylists worldwide on the esteemed team, Kelley regularly travels to New York for intensive training sessions with Ms. Mackinder, one of the most highly respected innovators in the hairdressing world. As part of ongoing education, Kelley and team are assisting Ms. Mackinder at shows, seminars, photo shoots and stages around the world, sharing the knowledge and vision of Hairdesignertv.

Internationally trained in Vidal Sassoon Precision Cutting and Bumble & bumble techniques, Kelley Schedewitz most recently spent four years as a Certified Technical Advisor and Master Colorist with Joico. As such, she regularly appeared on stage teaching the latest in Joico trends to large groups of stylists at hair shows and education presentations, as well as to students at beauty schools across BC.

A finalist for BC Hairstylist of the Year at the prestigious Contessa Hairdressing Awards and a Mirror Awards 2008 Finalist in the Avant Garde category, Kelley is constantly refining her skills through education to keep her on the cutting edge of the latest techniques and trends in hair, beauty and fashion.

Among Kelley’s television credits are “Canada’s Next Top Model,” “Breakfast Television” and “Urban Rush,” and her work has been seen on the runways of BC Fashion Week, Vancouver Fashion Week (Key Stylist) and Spring 2009 in New York.

Whether working with private clients out of her ultra-cool Gastown salon, refining her skills as a member of the Hairdesignertv Dream Team or styling magazine and newspaper editorials, Kelley is passionate about the many forms her work takes on and the variety and diversity of the projects she is involved in. Her trend-setting vision has made her one of the most sought-after hairstylists both locally and across North America.
